So many colors, so little time!
Picking the right colors to use in your artwork can be so challenging sometimes. This color works with that color, but that color crashes with this color.
Back when I first started, coloring was my longest (and most frustrating) part of creating artworks. Why? Because I used to rely on the color wheel and select colors manually!
Don't worry, that was in the past. I have changed since I discovered the eyedropper tool in ibisPaint X.
What's an eyedropper?
Oh, basically, it's a feature that allows you to 'pick up' any color quickly. The color can be picked from your canvas or the reference window.
How to use it?
Let's practice together! You can use this palette as a practice tool.
1. Open any canvas, it could be an existing one or a blank one.
2. Insert the color palette into your canvas, or you can insert it into the reference window.
3. Open the tool window and select the eyedropper icon.
4. Pick the color by tapping on the color you want from the palette.
5. Or you can do it quickly just by long pressing on the color! The color will be picked up instantly.
6. If you see the color changed in the color box, you have successfully eyedropped the color!
Easy, right?
It's such a simple tool, but it's very helpful! You can pick colors from any images, it doesn't have to be a color palette! No more switching colors back and forth on the color wheel!
